About
Every Rock Has A History, Every Fossil Tells A Story
Jurassic Coast Trust Ambassadors present a range of rocks, fossils and images from across the UNESCO Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site with a particular focus on the Triassic rocks that make up the Pebblebed Heaths of East Devon. Hear about mass extinctions, mega-sized continents, deserts, oceans, volcanoes & asteroids. Also take a peek into the not-so-long-ago environments of the ‘Ice Age’ (Pleistocene) and the creatures that once breathed & walked on the very ground you will be standing on – Yes, here on our very own Woodbury Common. It could very well turn out to be a MAMMOTH event!
