Lulworth Cove Visitor Centre

The displays, animations and films in the Lulworth Cove Visitor Centre tell the story of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, two of the most iconic geological features on the Jurassic Coast. The rocks first formed 150 million years ago, before the hard Jurassic and soft Cretaceous rocks were dramatically contorted around 40 million years ago and then sculpted by natural erosion into the two magnificent coastal landforms we see today. The Visitor Centre is available for education groups, and field sessions with the Lulworth Education Service rangers can be booked.
