Join oral history writer and poet Sarah Acton talking about the traditions of seine fishing communities along Chesil Beach and remembering the communities involved locally for generations, with readings from Sarah’s new book together with stories from contributors and photos. With Q&A.

Sarah Acton is a poet, oral history writer and community theatre writer. Sarah writes with a focus on connection to nature, seasons and place.

Signed copies of the book will be available to buy at the talk, and refreshments available also.

Tickets for the talk, which is in support of the West Bay Discovery Centre are available from Bridport Tourist Information Centre, priced £2. Booking in advance is essential.
