Swanage Bay’s beaches are sandy, and the bay offers sheltered, clear waters for visitors.

There are numerous car parks in Swanage as well as beachfront parking.

There are many public toilets and baby changing facilities throughout town and the beachfront.

Swanage Bay offers a flat seafront with ramps onto the beach. There are accessible toilets on Shore Road (adjacent to the beach), Swanage Pier, Mermond Place car park (24 hour access with RADAR key) and Swanage Museum and Heritage Centre.

Dogs are welcome all year at Monkey Beach (between Stone Quay and Swanage Pier). No dogs on main beach from 1 May to 30 September.
