Explore Mary Anning’s Home

Built on the site of Mary Anning's former family home, at Lyme Regis Museum you will discover the story of the remarkable and important contribution that Mary made to the development of modern scientific thought, against all the odds.

The museum's new Mary Anning Wing opened in 2017 and now there is more than ever to see, do and learn. Children enjoy free entry to this family-friendly museum, and are very welcome. They will love exploring the Cabinet of Curiosities and new museum trails! There’s plenty to interest adults and those who wish to go into more depth too, all wrapped up in a charming Grade II listed building, complete with beautiful spiral staircase.
