At Sidmouth Museum you can see rare reptile fossils and amphibian bones which have been found on the beaches, including the remains of the Rhynchosaur, a curious herbivore reptile.

Discover the lost world of the Triassic period by travelling back 235 million years when life-sustaining rivers flowed through the deserts and allowed the earliest ancestors of the dinosaurs to emerge.

Opening Times Open 10 am - 4 pm Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays. Please see our website for the latest information.
