hook farm

About

Situated on the Devon/Dorset border in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hook Farm in Uplyme is within easy walking distance of Lyme Regis and offers the perfect relaxed campsite for exploring the breathtaking Jurassic Coast and all that it offers.

Hook Farm enjoys a peaceful location only one mile from the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis, the family run Hook Farm Campsite encompasses over seven acres of camping, campervan and motorhome pitches, as well as a number of static caravans available for hire.

We also have two new glamping tents and a shepherd hut, beds made up for our guests.

Hook Farm’s location makes it the perfect basecamp for enjoying many of the local long-distance walking trails, with ready access to the striking Undercliffs section of the South West Coast Path, and the East Devon Way providing a convenient riverside walk down to the sea. Please ask in the shop during your stay and we will happily advise on the walks and directions.

Hook Farm is situated in a Dark Skies area which means there is very little light pollution at night and therefore on a clear night we have stunning views of the night sky and in particular the Milky Way. If you are lucky and your stay coincides with the International Space Station passing overhead it is clearly visible.

For food fanatics, as well as offering pop up restaurants on site for 2 nights a week in school holidays, Hook Farm is also ideally placed for visits to the famous River Cottage HQ, please click on the link to gain more information www.rivercottage.com. There are also many fantastic local pubs and restaurants within a few miles of the site that provide great local food and drink. There is also a wonderful local pub called the Talbot Arms offering a good range of drinks, great home cooked food and a warm welcome from the owners Steve and Wendy (Talbotarms.com) within a 5 minute walk of the site

Hook Farm offers a quiet site with views across the Lym Valley with no two pitches the same giving an informal and natural layout to the site. We maintain the site with nature in mind and try to encourage as much fauna and floral as possible. We have areas which we created into nature reserves and wildflower meadows.

Dogs are very welcome, with numerous walks from the park. We have a dog friendly static caravan available for hire.

We look forward to welcoming you to our park.
