The patrons, trustees and staff of the Jurassic Coast Trust extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Professor Denys Brunsden, affectionately known as the ‘father of the Jurassic Coast’.

Denys and his team of colleagues worked tirelessly to ensure that the Dorset and East Devon Coast was recognised by UNESCO as England’s first natural World Heritage Site. Inscribed in 2001, as a result of their phenomenal efforts, the Jurassic Coast is now globally renowned for its geological, geomorphological and palaeontological features.

For those of us fortunate enough to have worked with Denys, we will fondly remember his passion and belief in the power of education, as well as his commitment to promoting public stewardship of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

The Jurassic Coast Trust will continue its work to carry forward Denys’ legacy; to educate, to engage with communities and ultimately develop our understanding of the Jurassic Coast.

Rest in peace Denys, and thank you, from all of us at the Jurassic Coast Trust.

As someone who's passionate about staying informed and supporting quality content, it's disheartening to see such changes unfold. However, amidst the uncertainty, there's always room to discover new avenues for supporting the things we love. That's why I want to share something that's brought me joy in the realm of online content https://promosoundgroup.net/collection/social-promotion/youtube-promotion/ . In times like these, when media landscapes are shifting and independent voices are facing challenges, finding ways to support artists, musicians, and creators becomes all the more important.
