Festival of the Future Weymouth

About

This year’s Festival of the Future will conclude at Weymouth Harbour. Come along to see how partners collaborated to explore how emerging technology could one day be used in towns such as Weymouth to help local people and visitors. And we'll hear from one of the country's leading urban designers, Wayne Hemingway, on how Weymouth could develop.

Weymouth College tourism students have been considering how technology such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality could enhance the visitor experience at Nothe Fort. They will join us on the day to present and discuss their ideas.

Weymouth's companies - big and small - will be showing how they use the latest technology every day, from satisfying people's need for sustainable transport to innovation in the development of bigger transport solutions. There will also be plenty of time to ask your questions, network with other like-minded individuals and to be inspired by some of the most exciting innovation happening in Dorset.

You can attend in person or online. Choose the right ticket for you.
