About

Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Wild Seas Centre sits on the shoreline of beautiful Kimmeridge Bay in the Purbeck Coast Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ), created to protect the very special marine life here. Please always follow the Seashore Code to keep both yourself and the wildlife safe.

Inside the Wild Seas Centre you can learn about the fascinating wildlife that lives in the sea along this stretch of coast. A small aquarium brings you up close and personal with some of the rock pool animals while interactive displays and games provide fun for the whole family.

A team of marine wardens at the Wild Seas Centre can offer advice on where is best for rock pooling and other seashore activities; or for the more adventurous, why not try the snorkel trail, laid out in the summer months to help swimmers come face to face with the shallow-water inhabitants of the bay.
